Sears Companion 8x24 wood lathe built by Central Specialty.
Cast iron head and tail stock.
Cast iron tool rest and slide.
Cast iron bed feet.
Steel bed.
Steel 5/8" plain shaft on two Oilite bearings.
Originally Sears Royal Blue, a previous owner painted it gray.

September 2018: Purchased from a fellow OWWMer and picked up at ArnFest 2018.

October 2018:
Powered by a Craftsman ½ hp 1750 rpm motor on a pivot mount.
A block of wood under the motor keeps excess load off the lathe bearings.
Test cuts on a slug of white oak attached to a 3" faceplate.
