This curious machine came to our attention earlier this year. It presents a series of challenges to positively identify who made it. It features badging from several companies: Consolidated Machinery, Syracuse/Porter Cable, and casting marks and a serial number stamp that unmistakeably link it to Davis & Wells. Extensive discussion of this machine can be found here: http://www.owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=189934
The last image below is from a Porter Cable publication archived here which shows several key features of this machine.
Also this machine http://www.vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=2651 archived here by John Orvis is close.

Chief clue to the Davis & wells lineage: FS stands for Floor Shaper, and this casting appears upside down from how it is used here bolted to the underside of the D&W shaper
