This is a continuation of the Pontiac Custom Comfort auction and dispersal of machines. 2 straight line rip saws were auctioned at $70 each. They traded hands the same day for $100 each and were in the grips of a scrap dealer. I learned of this and posted a photo that evening - 11/18/05. Early the next morning, Chris (Smitty) Smith contacted me wanting to know more. I put him in touch with the scrap dealer and they struck a deal. Today, two old workhorse machines were saved and are heading home to southeast Indiana as I post this. (Smitty granted me permission to post as long as he wasn't depicted squinting into the low winter sun). Mission accomplished. The other machine was a Marion model M which will be logged post haste.
