I was in the market for a wood lathe and was discouraged by how cheaply made some of the affordable modern lathe's are. I saw this lathe on Ebay and picked it up for a reasonable price. I like the rugged construction of these old machine's and I wish more people would realize that these pieces have a lot of life left in them. I changed the color from gray/green to a more modern read because I don't always color within the lines. It is a great little lathe for the beginning hobbyist.
