Comments:
I inherited this from my wife's granddad back in 1991. Being in the military, I wasn't really able to use it since I had no place to set it up, so it collected dust. I retired in 1995 and drug it back home to my current residence and it sat and collected dust some more. I plan on retiring for good in about four years so started setting up one of my garage bays as a workshop. I thought about just getting rid of the saw, but after doing some research, I found this site and changed my mind. I plan on cleaning it up, oiling and greasing it, and using it until I decide what my tool needs will be later on. The motor still works. The blade adjuster was really stiff but some WD-40 took care of that. All in all, it is in really good condition, and should be a pretty nice saw.

Comments: Notice the Dunlap 4x36 belt sander mounted on the same stand as the saw. They both run off the same motor.

Comments: 1/2 HP motor. I believe this is the original motor. The date code to the left of the model says C2 50, which makes this a 1950 model.

Comments: Notice the outlet and switch. Grandpa was obsessed with switches. There is also an inline power switch on the electrical wire as well as one on the motor.

Comments: Was stiff raising and lowering the blade, but some lubricant fixed that. It's really smooth now.
