I purchased this machine in 1991 from a private owner. It came with 3-jaw, 4-jaw chucks, a steady and follower rest, lantern tool post holder, a collet closer, numerous straight, left and right tool holders, two drill chucks, micrometer carriage stop and a bunch of high speed bits. It is mounted on an interesting table. The back splash and pan don't look shop made, but may be. This could possibly be a factory option. The steel gussets were added by a previous owner. I also have the original Parts List with the serial number of the lathe hand written on the cover. Also included was a 1944 copy of How to run a lathe, and The South Bend Machine Shop Course for apprentice training. Book No. 39-B with 12 projects.
