This drill press was bought by me way back in the 80's. It was the second Old WoodWorking Machine I ever owned. I gave $150 for it at that time. It was bought at a metal working machine company in St. Louis, MO.
The chuck runs incredibly true. I have not run a dial indicator up against it but when drilling there is no indication of run out. It's more than adequate for woodworking.
Recently I got around to making it more complete with a motor switch (still the wrong side) and tightening levers. I also had a wild hair and was bored one weekend and made a mounting modification. Kids, don't try this at home.
