Comments:
I recently acquired this from the great auction house in the sky for a very low price. The machine seems complete except for the blade guard. The reason for the low price was pickup only and the motor only hummed. I checked the past messages and read to clean the contacts on top the motor. I also took the armature out of the motor and cleaned out 50 years of saw dust. It still did not turn so I continued with the 600 grit sandpaper to the contacts and now its running. The motor feels kind of hot when it runs so I am not sure how long it will last or if it has any power at this point. The serial number is 121401. Everything turns and moves and I am going to try and keep it as I don't have a radial arm saw at this point. Also I think this machine has not been used much from my guess. I will post some pictures and try to get better pictures soon. The pictures are from when I carried it down the basement steps and sat it on the floor just inside the door.
