This Walker Turner model BN1125 Driver 16" band saw is exhibited as "New" in the 1937 Driver Line catalog. Information provided by a fellow OWWM member has it also listed in the 1938 catalog, but not in the 1939. So this model was apparently only offered for two years.
The photo shown here was provided to me by the previous owner. It's the only one I have to submit for posterity displaying the saw in a semi complete state. Sadly, this saw appears to have been dropped. The upper arm of the frame was broken off and repaired to be functional. However, I do not think it worthy of restoration and plan to cannibalize it for parts.
Approximate weight: 365 lbs. without motor and base. Cast iron base model 11BN1 weight: 107 lbs.
This band saw was later produced under the Craftsman name. It is nearly identical - one exception is that the table tilt crank has been eliminated.
