Comments:
This Sears Dunlap 3-wheel band saw seems to be relatively uncommon (as evidenced by only one other sample in the archives) and was manufactured by Power King, which is obvious by the knobs alone. The Dunlap version replaced the Sears Companion saw, and preceded the Sears Craftsman 3-wheeler, which was introduced in the early '50s. The PO performed a pretty good "paint to sell" clean up and to his credit, replaced the three (yet unglued) tires. Also of note is the nice belt guard, with provision for either bottom or rear-mounted motors. PO even included four brand new blades. Signs of "Craftsman blue" are present on the untouched parts. Came with a working but later vintage 1745 RPM - 1/2 HP appliance motor that will serve a good purpose down the road.

All in all a nice example of this model. Glad to add it to my growing corral of small band saws.
