From the information found off this website this machine is based on the Walker Turner Driver No J740 jig saw. It was badged under Craftsman. It is designed for a 6" blade. When getting oil for it make sure your using 30WT Non-detergent(ND) oil. It can be found at your big box store or auto parts store. I used a pint from Lowes that was said to be used for power washers. The machine was purchased from a member on Old Wood Working Machines. Motor is a newer Delta Rockwell 1/3 HP 1750 60. The motor pulley was bought off Ebay. Takes a 32inch V belt. I picked one up at Autozone.
Things to watch for:
1. Make sure you account for all the brass sleeves. There is one on the top of the main head, two on the driven pulley, one inside the oil sump (main head).
2. There are fiber washers everywhere. So caution when taking it apart. One on the driven pulley that butts up against the main head on the pulley shaft, multiple on the inside of the oil sump.
3. The plunger assembly is hard to find replacement. At least for me. When I did find one there were subtle differences between the orginal and spare. The biggest difference was how the plunger spring was held in place. The original had a rod with a flaired head and the replacement had a cap with a set screw.
3. Care needs to be given when screening the plunger body to the long threaded rod. Do not over tighten or you'll crack the plunger housing.
