Comments:
Purchased in the Dallas area in May 2018. The seller's Dad had bought it from an estate in Missouri in the mid-'90s, where it had sat in a farmhouse "for a few decades". The history before that time is unknown. However, until about two years ago, he and his Dad had used the Fox to dimension lumber for building furniture. After sharing some known issues with some Red Fox 4x12's and their table/cutter head squareness challenges, he acted surprised as he hadn't experienced the same. He admitted not studying it too closely but thought the nature of the joints he and his Dad were using would have highlighted any serious issues. I'll certainly keep this in mind as I dis- and re- assemble the machine.

Overall, the planer looks complete and in excellent shape. The condition of the original knives are excellent (found one small nick) and the infeed roller suggest light overall use and/or good maintenance. Also happy to see very little rust and the original, intact pulley covers.

As one member stated, these planers have a lot of class and I agree.
