This machine was offered for sale, in North Wolcott, Vermont, in spring, 2018. It had been used by 'Arch' Cole, Marshfield, VT, until his death in the late 1940's, then sold to the father of the present seller, who used it in his own Vermont wood working shop, in about 1950, and was taken by him, with other of his machinery, Florida, then returned years later to Vermont, where I purchased it, disassembled, as shown, including the laminated post, and have stored it.
