I'm not at liberty to say where this lathe is. Sufficient to say it's in the lower half of the North Island of New Zealand.

Yet another lovely old Dean Smith and Grace (the "Rolls Royce" of metal lathes) 17" lathe. It's the second of three Dean Smith and Grace lathes at this location.

This machine also has a different speed range to the first three DSG lathes listed. The 18 speeds are: 13.4; 18.3; 23.6, 31; 42; 54; 70; 95 & 123r.p.m. in "slow", and 134; 183; 236, 310; 420; 540; 700; 950 & 1230r.p.m. in "fast". There are also six speeds in reverse: 17.3; 40; & 90r.p.m. in "slow", and 173; 400; & 900r.p.m. in "fast" (interesting that the reverse speeds are the same on all five machines).
