This drill press came from a Northwestern University Physics Lab. It was pretty much plug and play. I rebuilt with new all new bearings in the press and the 1 HP motor. I also added the VFD (TECO L510)and on/off switch. Runs very smooth. A huge improvement over the unmentionable 17 press that it replaced
