Comments:
This Waterous portable steam engine was found in the wilds of Northern Yukon Territory by correspondent Alan Reeve, who provided the photos. The engine itself has been removed, leaving behind the boiler and wheels. These portable engines were used to power sawmills, pumps, mining equipment, etc. This particular engine was located near an old road grader, which may or may not be significant.
