No idea of it's past history, but it's been in use until recently. Purchased from the previous owner who said he though "it was from the 50's". Came in good condition, and appears to be original paint. It's about 42" overall length. The 8x27 number is from the description of another image of this on the site. Didn't come with the bench, alas. Doesn't look like it's going to need much more than some cleaning and a bit of oil. It runs quite well, no slop in the headstock.
