Bought from a local blacksmith who brought it from Humboldt County CA. Badged "Cincinnati Lathe and Tool Co. Made by the Canedy-Otto division".
Research shows that Cincinnati bought out Canedy-Otto in 1949 and continued to sell their product line until 1956.
During that time this model press was available with 3 different drive options. Flat belt, V-belt or gear drive.
The t-slot table with coolant trough seems to be rarely seen. Very nice machine. Babbitt bearings in excellent shape. All gear teeth intact with no visible wear. .001" runout at spindle nose ID.
