I am really unsure of the date of this saw, so if you can give me a better idea, I would appreciate it. This saw belongs to a friend of mine. His father purchased this saw new, but was unsure when. This saw is absolutely complete. Not all of the parts are pictured here, but there are three 2'X2'X1' boxes of parts and extras for this saw, including the front or rear table extension roller, side extensions, two miter guages, original blades, moulding sets, belts, original motor and a Dunlap motor, stand, etc. This guy went all out when he purchased this saw, and now my friend owns it. It's believed that the original gold motor works fine, but having a Dunlap motor in the box with it makes me question it. He has yet to fire it up since he just got it. If he doesn't assemble it soon, I will. This is a really neat little saw. I got a bit excited when I saw it, and it's condition. The tilting arbor works great. A little rust removal from the iron top, and this saw will look almost new. His father really loved this saw, and took really good care of it, as he did with his other tools.
(Admin-1/10/2012: added what I believe is the correct vintage, this faceplate is rare.)
