This machine was acquired in Rusty/Seized condition and had been outside uncovered for at least a year that I know of. I purchased it mid 2016 and was cutting chips w/ it in January 2017. It was completely disassembled and cleaned using various methods including a lot of electrolysis rust removal. It took about 6 months of on & off work to restore. It was painted a relatively light shade of grey and was re-painted in a light Grey Alkyd Paint. The Quick Change Gear box was acquired later and added to the machine w/ the correct side door. Cross Slide control handle and lead screw support bearing is shop made.
