I acquired this planer from the widow of a friend of mine. I disassembled the entire machine, repainted and replaced the bearings. This machine is very quiet and a pleasure to use. It has a Peerless 2 HP direct drive motor. I also fabricated the red chip deflector that is usually missing from these machines.
