I don't know much about the origin of this machine. I seems that there is very scarce information about Beach MFG Co on the internet I'd love to know this date of manufacturing for this guy as I am currently restoring and upgrading it piece by piece. It did come from the factory with a single phase 115 volt Baldor motor which I find odd. I would imagine a machine of this age would have a three phase 208 motor. I also have some paper tags that came with the machine going over greasing procedure, setup, and wiring diagrams for high and low voltage. The inside of the Cutler Hammer motor control shows a Manufacture date of April 1947 so I'm assuming the shopper was assembled within a few years of that date if not that same year.
