I got this saw off of EBay for a good price. The cost of gas for me to go pick it up on the outskirts of Chicago more than made up for how inexpensive it was. A sacrifice well made, I think. It's the most complete machine of this type I've been able to find. The only thing missing on it is the original mitre gauge. The table raising worm screw was frozen when I got it but, other than the usual surface rust, everything on the machine works. The motor is an original Delta twin shaft 3/4 HP. I'm currently about halfway through stripping rust, old flaky paint, and 60 years of caked on gunk. I'm planning on making this the centerpiece of my shop. While not a tilt arbor cabinet saw, 90% of my cuts are 90' anyway and if I have to make a difficult bevel cut, I'll find a different way to do it. I'll post additional photos as my restoration continues.
