This very rare chain drive is on a 9" Junior lathe. They were originally together when sold, and still are. See other listing for details of lathe and drive under my name. This is to provide more details of the drive itself. This originally double the cost of the lathe in the 1930's. You can imagine that the depression limited sales of this attachment. This is in all original shape and is uncleaned and as found condition. The oversized Westinghouse and Switch are original to itself. This is the same equipment as is found in the 1930's South Bend Lathe Works catalogs under this lathe.
