I bought this motor, through the local internet auction site, mid-October, 2017, and finally took delivery Sunday (14th January, 2018).
I wired it up with a temporary connection, and it runs sweetly. It's a spare - but may go on an incomplete buzzer (jointer) I have in my rathole. I like old (pre-finned) electric motors. It was made after 1936 (see tag) but apparently before the merger with Crompton Parkinson in 1970.
It is a 2 1/2 h.p.; 1420 r.p.m.; 3-phase; 400volt; 50 hz; 4 amp, motor.

Terminal box side. The terminal box cover appears to be the only aluminium on the motor.
