Purchased in 2017 via Craigslist ad from the daughter and granddaughter of the original owner, who passed away in the 1970s. The owner was a professional machinist who purchased the lathe for home use, and it appears little worn and well cared for, but dirty from sitting unused in storage for decades. The family no longer had room to keep it, and wanted to pass it on to someone who would appreciate it. Came with a portable toolbox full of tooling, and the original Atlas operation manual. Complete disassembly, cleaning, and rehabilitation is in progress.
