Comments:

Dated as 1943 by markings on headstock tapered Timken bearings. This is a change gear machine used for many years in a Boy's Orphan home in Mooseheart Illinois. This is badged as a Craftsman but built by Atlas. Note the original color was machine grey, repainted during cleaning and adjusting. Ancillary equipment; milling attachment, three jaw, four jaw, faceplate, steady rest,follow rest, taper attachment.
