Fully functional. Acquired it 30 years ago. Used rarely. (Occasionally cut out an information Plate) Along with a 1945 Delta drill press with an Power-Down and a typical 2MT Quill they just sat in the shop. After restoring the Drill Press I couldn't leave this alone. And once that I started on it I was amazed at what it was capable of. The only bearings that I had to replace were the two blade guides and the two on the upper pulley. I did need a tire for the upper wheel but I'm trying the two tape method, (it's not like an electrical shop doesn't have electrical tape in different sizes). And of course I did run new power cord and relocated the switch box around to the side for two purposes; to move it away from the oil spout and to give it better access to the operator while in position. I am not positive if the motor is original to the saw as this monster's feet are wider than the pre-cut holes. I intend to make a better adjuster for changing the belt and I have to fabricate a rear plate for the motor, (how do you lose a plate but not the screws?).
I did take lots and lots of pictures and intend to make a tear down book which I will either offer to the site or send to any who inquire. Although this is a very early gearbox that does not have the coupler.
