The pictures of this saw were sent to me by John Reiland of Costa Mesa CA. This is a model that I did not know existed until John emailed me. It features a cast iron base and frame, and a direct drive 2 hp single phase 1740 rpm motor. John acquired this band saw from its previous owner in Yucca Valley CA for $230. It is in excellent shape and only needs tires and guide bearings. This saw is from the earliest J-line from Yates American, the serial number is B-12386. It certainly appears to be a well built heavy duty saw that should last forever. John plans on doing the necessary work to get this saw in tip top shape and hopefully he will report further on how well it works.
