Comments:
The Driver Line was manufactured by Walker-Turner for Sears Roebuck before the Craftsman line was introduced. (This was told to me by an old employee of Walker-Turner in Chicago in the 1960s)
This bandsaw was given to me in the 1960s by a buddy who had been given it by another friend of his.
The bandsaw had originally been driven by a jackshaft with four other tools, a Walker-Turner dp-101 drill press, a small Goodell-Pratt engine lathe and a jigsaw and a belt sander. My friend gave them all to me including the jackshaft.
The bandsaw and drill press are in daily use in my shop. I still hope (someday) to get them all belted up to the jackshaft and get them all spinning at once.
