This band saw was purchased new in 1964 when Harrison, NJ built a new high school. I was a band saw virgin in 1974 when I first used this saw. Yes, I know she was cutting wood for just about every guy in the woodshop, and the football team and the soccer team, even guys from metal shop, there were some girls too. I didn't care, and I knew someday she'd be mine. We were together for 4 years. I moved on in June of 1978. She stayed behind, making cuts for every young buck with a bowl blank. In the late 80's when they closed the shop I got her back at auction, along with most of the other equipment. She is currently in regular use in my shop.
