This is a Mead 1" by 42" Belt Sander from around 1940 or so. I have not cleaned it at all but I cannot see anything but the name on here. Since I only see an ad submitted to the mother ship with a picture of one of these I guess there are not too many around. I will get an ultimate "you suck" for this one; I found this in a house I purchased 12 years ago. Along with the occasional treasures was a lot of junk I have been cleaning out also, so it balances out. I have some motors around that will probably do and when I can squeeze out a few minutes I will try to get it going.
