These photos are copied with permission from an eBay auction. This drill press has a flat belt drive with a motor mount integral with the base. That combination probably dates it to 1910-1930ish.

Cast label says, "CHAMPION BLOWER & FORGE CO. LANCASTER, PA.". On the opposite side is the model number, "50-E". The motor is a 1/4 HP Westinghouse.
