Purchased NOS, probably on the bay. I have installed the elevating base backwards, as I prefer the holddown screw to be under tension, not torque. An older iteration---note the repetitive work stop near the front edge of the shield. At time of manufacture, Foredom was apparently a subsidiary of Blackstone Industries Inc., founded in 1976. Both companies are still in business and Blackstone now also holds the Olson Saw Co., among other holdings.
