This lathe was purchased from a seller on CL in 2014 and restored in 2017. The seller purchased it as part of a lot buy of tools from a company that manufactures bathroom metal partitions. This is a third generation family business and it is my understanding that the founder of the company was a woodworker and originally owned the lathe. The company was moving to a new location and was clearing out old equipment that was not currently being used.
This AWWM 12" Speed lathe is equipped with a Westinghouse 1/2hp, 3ph 4 speed motor headstock. It also has the pattern maker's tool carriage. A write-up of the lathe restoration can be found here: http://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=188116
