Photographed at the Elgin County Railway Museum in St. Thomas Ontario. I was told that the lathe was a later donation and may not have been original to the railway repair yard. Although set up for an overhead belt drive, it is now run by a large electric motor and still used to make parts for the locomotives in the museum's collection. The lathe carries a badge from H.W. Petrie Ltd. of Toronto, a distributor of machine tools back in the day.
