This was purchased on a Gov. Auction, it was originally sold to the Department of the Navy in 1966 for the sum of $7,704.00. Erdman Door Purchased it for $215.00. It weighs in at about 3,000lb. Heavy cast base. It's first job without it even operating was to slot screw heads for a flat head drive. A Die grinder was fastened to the head of the machine and the manual controls were used to position & feed the piece through the grinding wheel. You can see it attached in the picture.
