Sears Dunlap electric motor, built by Packard Electric.
Packard Electric design S-5652, type SKOH3.
8013 ball bearings.
I am posting this because it is one of the few single shaft Sears/Packard motors.
It also has a unique power cord exit point at the base edge near the power switch.
>>HISTORY<<
2006: Purchased motor along with a Craftsman/Atlas 101.02143 bench saw, from an OWWMer in Marshall Michigan.
05/07/2010:
Removed original New Departure 8013 bearings, flush, repacked, and reinstalled.
Two bearing finger springs were nested under the shaft side retainer. One had a broken finger.
08/26/2017:
Installed a new pair of nested finger springs at shaft bearing (GSI model MF1240-009).
Installed new 18-3 power cord and plug.
Drill/tap a #8-32 ground screw hole on the interior of the base.
Installed a new SPST in the base hole, where the original was missing.
