Powr-Kraft belt driven ball bearing 5" bench grinder, built by General Hardware.
This grinder appears to be identical General's model CB-45G.
Cast iron body with water decal tag and Powr-Kraft beige paint from the mid-to-late 1950s.
Stamped steel tool rests, arbor flanges, and wheel guards.
Steel shaft 5/8" turned down to 1/2"-20 threaded arbors.
Die-cast pulley 2" diameter.
6202 double shielded ball bearings.

>>HISTORY<<
Purchased from an estate sale in Royal Oak Michigan on 8/27/2017.
The previous owner had it bolted to a basement work bench and driven from behind with a Delco 1/3 hp motor.
Based on the vintage of the other workbench equipment, I'm guessing he was the original owner.
The grinding wheel is worn to about 4¾" diameter and appears to be one of the originals, based on the remains of the blotters.
The right-hand shaft has two worn cotton buffing wheels.

UPDATE-October 2017:
Found a NOS ACE Hardware 5"x1" A100 grinding wheel for the right hand side.
Test driven using a 1940s (est) Leland ¼ hp 1725 rpm motor with 3" pulley on a 1950s Craftsman Universal Stand.
Dressed the original A60 grinding wheel on the left hand side.

UPDATE-August 2019:
Replaced left side A60 wheel with a ½” wide C80.
Mounted grinder to a piece of 1x12 pine with plywood reinforcement strips underneath.
Added a 1942 Sears Dunlap 1/3 hp 1750 rpm motor (115.5454) mounted to a pair of unknown brand aluminum motor rails.
Attached rig to a surplus Craftsman 18” scroll saw stand.

June 2022: I no longer own this grinder--traded to a fellow OWWMer.
