It's a two speed drill by changing the handle from one gear to the other. By actioning a small cam lever, the spindle gets free and we can use it as an ordinary drill by lowering down a four way handle.
The flywheel has 14" dia., spindle is 1 1/8" with a 6" up and down run, weight 140 pounds.
To complete the drill, i had to make the column, the table support(fork), the foot, the wingnut, the handle, the handle arm,the handle hub and a new board.
It has been a lot of work but i'm quite happy with the final result.
