I have been looking for one of these for 5 years and finally found one on a government auction web site, paid a fair price for it, but I was disappointed in it's condition when I picked it up. It came from a high school in Brantford and you could see that it was not looked after, the shop teacher obviously did not care about the machine or his students by the shape it was in. I guess that's the way they can justify there new budget. I got the saw back to the shop and stripped it down to the bare bones, cleaned it up gave it a new paint job, new tires, and installed a V.F.D to convert the 3 phase 2 hp. motor to work on my single phase 220 volt power. I now have a beautiful running variable speed 20" industrial band saw in my shop that replaces my 18" white metal and aluminum Taiwan saw. I'm looking forward to many years of use from this 900lb. beast, there are not many of these listed on this site hope there are more to come, just one of my 9 General machines.
