Local acquisition, still haven't reassembled or finished cleaning. Pictures are temporary until a complete machine exists. I am not sure what I will do for a motor, either use current motor, or find a suitable replacement with a frame size that matches and can use some kind of coupling to the shaft. This machine has a 2 or 3 hp cast iron motor with 440 v, possibly able to run at 220. This has babbit bearings, two knife round cutter head, no indexing wheel on the front. It comes with a strange two piece motor stand that bolts to the casting and sits at the rear of the cutter shaft. That may be the only really unusual thing about this particular machine.

machine rear It is possible to see the location where the motor platform bolts to the rear of the machine just to the left of the rear babbit journal, although the cutterhead with shaft had been removed for some reason when this picture was taken..
