This Machine was originally Purchased for use at Fort Lewis WA. Building 427. The original cost for the Machine was $53,365.00. The Base decommissioned it due to Re-Capitalization which allowed them to replace it with a new machine. Erdman Door Bought it at auction for $1,181.00. With tax and the Auction fee total cost was $1,410.00. We picked it up ourselves at the Base 2000 mile total trip for a cost of $755.00 and or course my time. Rental Fees for off loading etc Appx. $600.00. total actual cost $2,765.00.
The machine originally had a Acu-Rite DRO system. It was purchased without the screen, but the scales were still on the machine.
It came with 2 arbors for horizontal milling and 3 arbor supports. It has a swinging vertical head, and a universal head. It was supplied with a Cincinnati Dividing Head and tail stock, 4 vises,and numerous other attachments. Machine has only 601 hours on it.
