Found on Craigslist here in Phoenix. Saw was complete and in great shape. Cleaned up and painted parts as needed. Replaced 2x6 wood motor mount with OEM floating mount and added a link belt. Can now balance a nickel on the saw table when it is running.
The OEM chucks were configured with some free hand ground square nuts and glue. Cleaned them up and they did not retain small blades well. Installed contemporary Craftsman jig saw chucks and they work great with small or pinned blades. Also made a fitting so that roller guide can be fitted to bottom of table so reciprocating saw blades can be used as described in owners manual.
