Comments:
I purchased this from a retired machinist. His Father gave him this machine in 1980, when he first opened up his own shop. He retired in 2002 and the machine hasn't been used for the past 15 years. It runs well and is very quiet, but I need to shuffle some machines around in order to get it into my home shop where I can better evaluate it. He seemed to use it mostly to sharpen lathe and mill tooling using an air grinding device, and there was no magnetic chuck on the grinder when I bought it. The seller was a gentleman and took some off the price for the lack of a chuck. This is a very basic surface grinder, but I wanted it because it's simple and has scraped ways on it which I can scrape myself and put back to original specs if needed. So I can make it like new, where I can't easily grind hardened and ground ways. The only thing missing is the front of the wheel cover, which I can make one, or adapt some type of dust collector to it. Has the original light, splash guard and all the handles and such are intact. The seller gave me a electromagnetic controller, but didn't have the mag chuck. I got a wheel balancer, dresser, a dozen wheels, he even gave me the small cart it's on so I could move it around my shop until I figured out where I wanted to put it. Both of us seemed pleased, and he liked the fact that I want to go through and spruce it up. Another nice little machine to have in my quiver, and nothing beats a great story to go along with it.

Comments: Front of machine. Paint is actually not too bad of shape.

Comments: Side view. You can see it still has the guarding intact, but I'll replace it. There are some baffles inside also which I'll replace.

Comments: Jumped onto the flat bed and followed me home! Came apart easily and we loaded it with a Bobcat.
