This planer was used in a banquet table business in the 50's. The business was bought by my FIL in the 60's and when he sold his business in 1998 I got to put it in my shop. The only thing done has been to grease, sharpen blades, and build a guard for the belts. I need to put it on a cart or some casters so I can move this thing. As everything is steel and cast iron I estimate the weight at 300 lb. at least. I have searched everywhere on this machine and can find no identifying marks or labels whatsoever. After perusing the photos and information here I determined that this is in fact a Belsaw Model 905 Planer. The badge is missing from the cover so no serial number for it.
