I acquired this sander in North Central Rhode Island. It still has the original pivoting tool rests. It was set up to be a four way sander with sanding discs on the inside and outside of each disc. It has been modified to run on a single phase motor vs belt drive but it runs smoothly and is just a triumph of engineering. Over 100 years old and it runs smooth as can be.
