GP refers to this as a "Foot Power." Think most people commonly call it a Kick or Power Wheel. This one has a unique but effective ratchet and pawl mechanism inside that piece that the leather belt goes on. It has been well used and will require some TLC on that mechanism. First pictures are of it "as found" by a fellow OWWMer up in MASS not too far from the GP plant in Greenfield. At $23, it was more than double their basic kick wheel at $10. By comparison to other kick wheels, this one is on the heavy size at 64 pounds. Will be restoring it when time permits and uploading "after" photographs. Can't wait to get her running and see just how effective it will be compared to other wheels. Thinking about making a stand and likely using it to power a GP polisher. Hope to do a video on the restore and operation. Just love foot powered machinery!
