I acquired this for $100 from an individual that had it in storage for a friend that was left the saw in a will of a gentleman that passed away, my understanding was that was the first owner. Everything was rusted solid and the tilt mechanism was inoperable I tore it completely down refinished the cabinet with the exception of the vent door added a little custom color and pinstripe to the base rebuilt the tilt mechanism used it for a couple days and the motor went down working to get it rebuilt now. Read somewhere that the goose egg was an option back then and this may never have had one as the screw holes have no evidence of ever having a screw in them
