Saw it on Craigslist as I was looking for something to help cut boards for a project that were a bit bigger than my miter saw could handle and after a bit of thinking, I went to check it out. I got to the shop to see it laying in pieces. Well, he said let's test it, and guess what happened, smoke rolled out as soon as he plugged it in. He said I can understand if you don't want it, but you can still make an offer if you do. I gave him $40 and took it home. It was definitely a gamble that paid off. He did have it sent to Wolfe a little over 8 years ago and so it had updated electronics, which is what caused the smoke issue. I swapped out the black box in it for an old relay and it fired right up. I do intend to take it back apart and clean it up someday, but right now, it is mounted on a quickly thrown together portable tool workbench to help me finish a deck.
